Liebstar Award

I was nominated for the Liebster Award by The Tavelling Donkey. This award is about showcasing small new blogs with less than two hundred followers. The point, it seems, is to get new followers for these new blogs.
*If this is your photo and you want to be credited, just let me know!
And as a part of these awards, you have to answer the eleven questions your nominator asked you. So here you go.

1. Favourite memory?

Ugh, I was gonna say three different ones, but then I remembered, how in the world could anything beat the one and only One Direction concert I went to?
I bought a VIP ticket after only two months of discovering the boys, because I knew they would become special me. The same night (which was also the same night my best friends came to visit from Texas, so that makes the memory even better) I bought the supplies to make a fanbook for them. It took exactly three months to make the fanbook, which was how much time I had until the concert.
Butttttt, they weren't the best three months of my life. I won't go into the details, but I wanted to die (still do, sometimes). And I remember promising myself that if the One Direction concert didn't make me feel alive, I wouldn't stay alive.
But that day was the best day ever.
The concert was in Atlanta, which is roughly an eight-hour drive from where I live, so I woke up around six to get ready to leave. I packed up car all cute, took pictures, and left at right. Even the drive was super nice. I stopped by Priester's Pecans (80 Bishop Bottom Rd, Fort Deposit, AL 36032) my favorite souvenir stop on road trips, and bought a couple of Hello Kitty things. I stopped at a rest stop for snacks for lunch. And the minute I crossed the Georgia line, I smelled nothing but peaches.
Atlanta is beautiful, and the drives are so courteous. It's one of my favorite cities. I even got to drive under the roller coasters of Six Flags (though my GPS got me momentarily lost).
I got to the arena (which is absolutely beautiful by the way) just in time to get inside the VIP line. The VIPs all kinda hung inside for an hour or so while the host explained how things were going to go: soundcheck, early merch shopping, snack venues, and the actual concert itself. They even gave away door prizes, but I'm never lucky enough to win something to do with One Direction! Though I did get the free tee-shirt, satchel, and shirt pins, and lanyard with the ticket itself. I also bought another lanyard, a second shirt, a poster (which I have to one of my friends), and a pack of stickers. And I got a picture with the host! He was soo cool!
Then came the soundcheck. And it was a dream come true.
When the boys came out, there was one simultaneous intake of breath as if everybody couldn't believe the boys were real. But then we realized the boys were real, and we all started screaming. The boys sung four or five songs for sound check, including Use Somebody, and then had a Q&A. I only remember a few of the questions asked, but my favorites were "If a girl has that One Thing, then how can it be Everything About You?" and about what Hogwarts Houses they would be in. And Louis confirmed that he's a Slytherin. I was also waved to by three out of four of the guys, Paul said hi to me, and I got my fanbook to them via one of the backstage workers (who was about my age and super sweet, by the way).
But the concert itself? It was soo amazing. I sat seventh row, and I was close enough to get a bit of attention from the boys. Niall and Liam both waved at me. Zayn pointed at me a couple of times. Louis (who happens to be my favorite) watched me for a while. It was also Louis Tomlinson that made me feel like I wanted to be alive again. During one section of the show, he stopped to talk between a couple different songs about X-Factor and their journey since then. He talked about the fans and the job and how it all made them feel so alive. He went on to say that we could feel alive too as long as we lived the life we wanted.
But it was Harry that gave me the most attention. He spotted me first during soundcheck, and kind of just stared at me for a while before waving at me. He waved at me a second time during sound check before they left the stage. He looked around when they first came out on stage, and then he found me and SMILED. It's in all caps because it was a big smile. Throughout the whole show he smiled at me and laughed at me, and just played with me from stage. Then at one point he not only told me that I'm beautiful and thanked me for the fanbook, but he also told me he loves me. And I love him too.
I didn't mean for this to be so long, nor did I mean to be such a gush, but if you had such a great memory as this, you should got to gush about it too!

2. What is the top location in the world you would like to visit?
Not to give such a short answer, but, London.

3. Why did you start blogging?

Well, I started my Tumblr blog over three years ago when things were going pretty rough in my life and I needed something to distract me. But then I met this beautiful girl named Danielle. She changed my life, and she showed me that there were people out there that were going through the same things as me. So I made a new blog to support those people.
But this blog, I started to maximize my Tumblr blog, and give it even more plug-ins.

4. Favourite book at the moment?

It's actually a book series. Well, or, a series of series... Wait, what? Anyways, it's Cassnadra Clare's Shadowhunters books. Those books have changed my life (apparently a lot of things change my life), and I plan to make a series of blog posts about them at some point. So look forward to those!

5. If you could only eat one food for the rest of you life, what would it be?
Pasta!

6. Favourite song at the moment?

GIRL ALMIGHTY. This song by One Direction from the latest album, FOUR, is the greatest femme fatal song of our generation, in my opinion.

7. A place you go to get away from everything?
Just my bedroom.

8. What is a weird dream you've had recently?
I had an odd dream about Vampire Diaries last night. I feel like I've been reading it too much. Or you can just read yesterday's blog post about another dream I've had!

9. Who inspires you?

Louis Tomlinson. He's my tattooed angel< 3

10. Who is your favourite blogger?
Lily! Streetlightsfade

11. What is a quote you find inspiring?

Live and let live. To me, it says that as long as I keep living, I can help others keep living as well.

Okay! Thanks again Jenny for nominating me, and thanks to those reading!

I was nominated a second time by SMB-Health. Here are the questions from her:

1)      What is your biggest dream in life?

To become a best selling authoress.

2)      Why did you start blogging? What inspired you?

I already answered this in the above.

3)      If you have to change one thing about you, what would that be?

To be honest, I would make myself a completely different person.

4)      Which is your favorite place in the world and why?

The bookstore or library. Because I can sit there with books forever and read and be happy.

5)      If you are granted three wishes, what would you wish for?

Health.
Money to pay off my hospital debts.
To become published.

6)      Name three authors you like and why?

Cassandra Clare is probably my favorite. I just love her stories about the Shadow World (I'm kind of obsessed). I heard that she got into some trouble when she first started writing, but I feel like she's really redeemed herself since, no matter what anybody says.
Suzanne Collins for her strong characters and inspiring stories.
John Green's books are all up there in my favorites, but I'm feeling kind of disappointed in him. I don't even know why?

7)      Given a chance to change something in your life, what would you change? It can be anything an experience, a decision etc.

I would just be healthier, to be honest. That's the only thing that really stops me from doing what I want in life.

8)      Tell us about yourself that makes you different from others?

I'm hilarious. And I don't care if a lot of people are hilarious, because Im the MOST hilarious.

9)      Given a chance to change this world, what three things would you do to make this world a better place?

I'd get rid of the discrimination against how girls dress.
I'd get rid of the stigma against mental health.
I'd just make everyone a whole heck of a lot happier.

10)   Describe an experience which changed your life, for good or bad?

Honestly, I'm just going to say becoming a fan of One Direction. They've done so much good for my life. And every once in a while they cause just a teeny bit of stress for me. I am not sleeping tonight.

11)   Where do you see yourself ten years down the line?

I wish you'd said five years, because I have the perfect punch line. I'd've said, "I don't know. I don't have 2020 vision!"
